I highly recommend Rumpus Number One ... the show is made up of various short segments of edited footage [ranging in theme] from outer space to tribal rituals [put to] mostly ambient soundscape pieces ... its a reminder that television can be art ... the music and the images create something which they could not have created separately ...

Wendell Adkins wants to get the world on a peace vibe through synesthesia (the triggering of one sense by stimulating another). His way of doing that is "Rumpus". "Rumpus" is a sort of visual rave, combining fast-moving images - both beautiful and disturbing - trancey tribal music, and special effects. Currently there are 5 "Rumpae" around, and you can catch them on Arlington Community Television and DCTV.
